Pondalowie Bay Campground
The largest campground in Innes National Park, nestled behind the dunes at famous Pondalowie Bay.
The Pondalowie Bay Campground is the largest and most popular camping area in Dhilba Guuranda-Innes National Park, set behind the dunes at the celebrated surf bay near the south-western tip of Yorke Peninsula. It offers a mix of sites for tents, camper trailers and caravans, putting campers within easy reach of the renowned Pondalowie surf break, a sheltered crayfishing bay and white-sand beaches. Emus and kangaroos wander through the camp at dawn and dusk, and a short walk leads to the Chinamans Hat Island lookout. Facilities are basic, so bring your own water and supplies, and book your site and park entry pass in advance, especially over summer and school holidays when this corner of Innes fills quickly with surfers and families.
