Home of the Red Devil and the heart of the wheat country.
Minlaton
A central agricultural town famous as the home of aviator Harry Butler and his "Red Devil" monoplane.
Minlaton sits at the centre of the peninsula's wheat country and proudly remembers local hero Harry Butler, the pioneering aviator whose restored "Red Devil" Bristol monoplane is displayed in town. A friendly main-street town with bakeries, pubs and the Gum Flat heritage, it makes a convenient stop between the gulf coasts.
