Kadina
The peninsula's largest town and Copper Coast hub.
The biggest town on Yorke Peninsula, blending copper-boom heritage with the Farm Shed Museum and a busy main street.
Kadina grew rich on the copper boom of the 1860s and remains the largest and busiest town on the peninsula. Its wide streets are lined with grand stone hotels, banks and the Wallaroo Mines ruins on the edge of town. The Farm Shed Museum brings together mining and farming heritage, while a healthy mix of shops, cafes and pubs makes Kadina a natural service hub for the Copper Coast.
