Housed in the grand 1878 Moonta Mines Model School, this museum is one of South Australia's finest community collections. Room after room is packed with mining tools, household relics, photographs and memorabilia tracing the lives of the Cornish families who made Moonta boom. Costumed displays, a mineral collection and the building's own history bring the copper era vividly to life.
